Chelsea Childling Pays a Debt

Chelsea fought to hide her worry. The pale-haired hedge doctor was young. Like maybe in high school young. The white-blonde hair and short stature didn’t do much to help him seem any older. Still, Jeff seemed quite competent as he cleaned and stitched Morgan’s arm.

Chelsea and Amber

“So, we keep our eyes open, and watch each other’s back.” Chelsea leaned over to taste Amber’s neck. “And your front… the profile is nice, too.”
A smile eventually broke the plane of Amber’s fear. It rose with the color in her skin. “You might be worse than Jackson.”

Child deposit… done

I safely dropped my kids off at school this morning… Only my youngest was excited, but he’s also in kindergarten. The older two were significantly less impressed. Actual writing has been done!

With my husband gone for a few days, I was hoping to get some writing done… and I did. Though not as much as I wanted. Still, actual words have been typed. It’s a minor miracle. Hopefully, I can finish the sequel to Hedge Doctor in the next few weeks. Nicole has been giving me fits, […]

Balancing act

Been working on the sequel to Hedge Doctor this week. I fixed my issues with opening of the first story (more or less), but now the feel of the rest of it, the emotional balance is off. I’m not sure how to round it out, or if I need to. This might all be in […]
